These days anyone with a computer is a Graphic Designer? After all, with the software out there anyone can go to the local computer store, get a nice computer,
software, and start laying out professional products. Why hire a designer? Right? . . . Wrong! Not everyone knows how to design something to bring out the right message, to accent and high light what you want to
get across. What text to use to make it easy to read, or grab the attention of by passer. What color will work best and what material is available, or what material not to use. How about the printer, will he be
able to reproduce your art work? Will it cost you more because you didn’t do the layout the way he needed it? As in any profession there are a lot of things to think about that you just don’t know if you
don’t work in the field.
Some time ago I decided to redo some plumbing in my upstairs bathroom. What’s the big deal, you
don’t have to be a rocket scientist to do plumbing. What’s so tough about that? RIGHT? Well I did, and I did a pretty good job if I say so myself. Then a couple weeks later I had a flood in the
downstairs bathroom. It turned out that I didn’t used the right fittings and they didn’t hold, and . . . well . . . let just say it cost me more to have my mess fixed, than if I had a professional do it for me
in the first place. Plus he could have done in a day, what it took me a week. So you may think you’re saving money by doing it yourself, but will you? I remember seeing a pricing chart that said: $50
an hour, if you watch $60, if you help $75, and if you’ve worked on it first $150. Everybody in every field can relate to that.
So take a look at some of our work and list of companies we’ve helped. Then give us a call, you may be surprised!
