Weddings & My Prices -
If you’re on this page, it’s a good chance you’re looking for wedding prices and what you get for that price. I charge
$350 for the first hour and $150 for each additional hour, plus travel. This means I’m on the clock from the time I leave my home until the time I get
back. So if it takes me an hour to get to the wedding, then my travel time would be two hours.
My service includes a contact-sheet proof book of the photographs, with a code under each image and a CD of all images. The code will help you locate a photo on the CD. The CD will be located on the inside of the
back cover of the proof book. You’ll receive a set of photo quality 4”x6” prints of all images, which will be in a Keepsake Photo Box. You’ll receive one 5”x7” and one
8”x10” photograph of my choice. This will show you the quality of reprints that can be made from the images on the CD. You’ll also receive a photo release letter giving you my permission to
reproduce the photographs.
I DON’T DO ALBUMS!
I structured my prices this way to help you save money. First, it’s important to understand that I will stay as long as you want me, but the real question is how long am I NEEDED? In most cases a photographer
isn’t needed for the whole reception. The formal photographs at the reception can be done within the first hour and a half or two hours (or less). If your reception is five hours, you can cut me loose three
hours early. (A savings of $450) This works the same before the wedding. Many brides want a photographer to come to their home, then to the groom’s home and then to the church. Depending on
locations and travel this can add another one or two hours. Maybe more! Bottom line, the longer I stay, the more it’s going to cost.
Before I book any wedding, I make it a policy to meet with the couple in person. This is to see if we get along, if we like each other, do we click. There may be something about me you don’t like, maybe my
looks, the way I talk, the clothes I wear or the way I like to kid around. This is a very important day in your life. So be sure to get someone you feel comfortable with, someone you like and get along with.
