I don’t have a studio so this means I go to the customer.  When it comes to family photographs, this works out much better. Folks feel more comfortable in their own surroundings, and this goes double for children.  If the unexpected happens, like if little Johnny gets dirty, you’re at home so you can clean him up. 

For all photographic services other than weddings, I charge $125 an hour, plus travel. This means I’m on the clock from the time I leave my home until the time I get back.  So if it takes me an hour to get to the job location, then my travel time would be two hours.  I had a person call me from Montgomery County that only needed me for about half an hour.  She assumed the cost would be $62.50.  I had to tell her it would take me an hour to get to the location and another one to get back.  So that would be two hours of travel time, plus half an hour for the photo service, total of two and a half hours making the cost $312.50.  

My service includes a contact-sheet proof book of the photographs, with a code under each image and a CD of all images.  The code will help you to locate a photo on the CD.  The CD will be located on the inside of the back cover of the proof book. You’ll also receive a photo release letter giving you my permission to reproduce the photographs.
